Introduction
ShopSite is a template-based storefront tool. You can easily create and maintain an Internet store through use of ShopSite. We offer ShopSite in three levels - Starter, Manager, and Pro. You can see the key differences among the different levels by viewing the feature comparison.
To access ShopSite, you'll need to visit the Members Area and click the link marked "ShopSite" or "Online Store" in the control panel.
The first time you configure ShopSite, a setup wizard will walk you through steps of naming the store, defining store settings, adding products and pages, calculating tax and shipping, etc. Each step must be completed IN ORDER to initialize the store. Any of the settings entered in the wizard can be modified later via the ShopSite management console.
NOTE: For users of our Windows platform, there is a fulfillment delay of approximately one hour from the time you complete the wizard until the time your store is visible online. Due to the nature of our architecture, there are many files for ShopSite that need to be moved and copied when you first set up your account. Please be patient as this fulfillment process completes.
There are nine key areas to the ShopSite management interface - Pages, Products, Images, Merchandising, Orders, Reports, Commerce Setup, Utilities, and Preferences - all nine areas apply to Starter, Manager and Pro, but not all features of each key area are available in each level.
