On March 18, 2003, we will be upgrading our hosting services. As a result of the changes, you'll have access to great new tools, a comprehensive online control panel and a more reliable platform.

We will do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition to our new platform, and we're confident you'll be pleased with the improvements we're making.

In order to successfully implement these improvements, we may need you to make some changes to your Web site or e-mail mail settings.

Please review the following instructions carefully.

If you have a question or need additional information, please contact our Support Team.

Username and Password
Most customers will find that their usernames have not changed. However, because our new system cannot accept certain characters, we did have to make small changes to some usernames. If you have trouble logging in, please contact our Support Team.

Your New Control Panel/Members Area
We will be launching a new control panel, called the Members Area, on AccountSupport.com. The Members Area will give you access to the tools you need to manage your hosting accounts (domain names, traffic statistics, file management, etc.).

Accessing Your New Members Area
Previous Address New Addresses
Your Control Panel URL: http://domain.com/~acp/ http://domainname.com/~acp/ or http://accountsupport.com/member/

Accessing Web-Based E-Mail
You can access your Web-Based E-Mail through the "Check E-Mail" in your Members Area.

Uploading/CGI Changes
CGI: Because we are changing the directory structure on the servers, we will automatically update the absolute path to your files and make every effort to convert your scripts to the correct paths.

If you discover a pathname issue, you can view the correct path by clicking the "CGI Management" link in the Members Area. You'll need to correct your path in the source code. Be sure to use this path for any new scripts you create as well.

Compiled C: We will no longer be able to support Compiled C CGI programs.

FTP: Please use the following settings.

Previous Settings New Settings
Available FTP Settings: ftp.domain.com ftp.domain.com or ftp.accountsupport.com
